Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to Nichessities, the public brand operated by Joseph Simon Simbulan as an individual, and to the platform's utilities, tools, services, and features. It describes current practices for information handled through the platform. External websites and services follow their own privacy practices.
Information We Collect
Nichessities does not currently offer user accounts, public forms, file uploads, or backend storage for utility data. Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and advertising cookies are not active. The hosting service may collect limited performance and operational information, as described below. If you email us, we receive the address you use, your message, and standard email metadata. Hosting providers may also maintain standard security logs.
How We Use Information
We may use information available to us to operate, maintain, protect, and improve Nichessities; respond to questions and support requests; investigate errors or misuse; and meet applicable legal obligations.
Local Storage and Browser Data
Some Nichessities utilities may store information locally within your browser or device to improve functionality and preserve your work. Unless a feature explicitly states otherwise, information stored locally remains on your device and is not transmitted to Nichessities.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Google Analytics is not active. Google AdSense is not active. Advertising cookies are not active. The production site has been observed loading Cloudflare Browser Insights to measure page-load timing and Core Web Vitals through a hosting-layer beacon. Cloudflare states that this beacon does not read cookies, local storage, session storage, or IndexedDB. Browser storage used by a utility is described separately above.
Third-Party Services
Nichessities relies on Cloudflare for hosting and performance delivery and on email providers for public email channels. Cloudflare may process performance measurements, referrer information, browser and device characteristics, and operational data to provide and improve those services; Cloudflare states that source IP addresses collected for Web Analytics are discarded after being used at the nearest data center. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. External links are governed by the practices of their operators.
Data Security
Nichessities uses reasonable measures appropriate to the platform's current design, but no website, network, browser, device, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device, browser, and any information you choose to enter or send.
Data Retention
Information stored locally remains subject to your browser and device controls and may remain until you remove it or the browser or device removes it. Information received by email may be kept as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, protect the platform, or meet legal obligations. Hosting providers may maintain standard operational and security logs.
Children’s Privacy
Nichessities is intended for people age 13 or older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Nichessities, contact us at hello@nichessities.com.
Your Choices
You can choose what information to enter into a utility, use browser controls to review or clear local site data, and choose whether to contact us by email. You may ask a privacy question or request review of information you believe Nichessities handles by writing to hello@nichessities.com.
Changes to This Policy
Nichessities may revise this policy when the platform, its practices, or applicable requirements change. A revision will identify its effective date. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way appropriate to the change.
