Using this utility
This planner is for individuals, families, and groups who want one editable checklist organized around travelers, activities, bags, packing preferences, and easily forgotten essentials.

Recommendations are deterministic: the same selected trip details produce the same starting suggestions and explanations. Quantities respond to trip length, travelers, laundry plans, and the selected packing style. A custom packing style uses the Balanced quantity baseline while displaying your label.
Synthetic example: two travelers plan a three-day trip, expect one active outing, have access to laundry, and share one checked bag. Those facts produce a more useful starting list than “pack for three days” alone: clothing quantities can reflect laundry, activity items can be separated from everyday clothing, and shared items need not be duplicated for both people. Assigning items to the shared bag also makes capacity and responsibility visible. The planner cannot know a custom activity’s needs or current carrier rules, so add those items manually and confirm baggage restrictions with the provider.
The planner does not read uncontrolled custom text to invent recommendations. It also cannot know current airline rules, security restrictions, weather changes, medical needs, or destination requirements. Confirm those details with the relevant provider or authority before leaving.
Not in the current release. Custom activities are stored and displayed as reminders, but they do not generate unreviewed suggestions.
